The 15th AASVET International Conference

The Asian Academic Society for Vocational Education and Training (AASVET) is an academic organization, founded in 2005 by several most distinguished scholars within the field of vocational education and training from across Asian countries. The aim of AASVET is to create a platform where scholars and practitioners could share and exchange their research output to advance knowledge and practice in TVET. Since its founding, AASVET international conference takes place annually in different Asian Countries including Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand. Recent innovative TVET research and development in Asian countries could be shared and exchanged through this conference, with the hope to advance new knowledge in the field of Technical and Vocational Education and Training.
The 15th International Conference of Asian Academic Society for Vocational Education and Training (AASVET) in 2019 will be hosted by Malaysia. In conjunction with this, AASVET believes that a collaboration with The Department of Skills Development (DSD), Ministry of Human Resources (Malaysia) and Institutes of Higher Education in conducting the conference on the Establishment of the TVET Occupational Standards and Qualification in this Digital Age is critical. The 15th AASVET 2019 conference will discuss the current challenges and future strategies for TVET based on the paper presentation by keynote speakers, scholars and distinguished presenters and participants from Asian countries. The main theme is: Future TVET Occupational Standards and Qualification in the Era of Digital Economy.
